Adrie Heinsbroek appointed Chief Sustainability Officer at NN Investment Partners

NN Investment Partners (NN IP) has appointed Adrie Heinsbroek as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), as of 1 January 2021. In this newly created role he will advise the Board on sustainability matters and challenges, and their implications for the entire organisation to help ensure NN IP remains at the forefront of responsible investing.
In a rapidly evolving environment, NN IP is committed to remaining at the forefront of global sustainability and ESG developments. Appointing Adrie as CSO enables NN IP to leverage on his knowledge and experience whilst setting priorities and make decisions for the future. He will be responsible for bringing external developments that shape our operational surroundings and society, such as increased regulations and climate change, directly to the Board. In addition, he will advise the Board on NN IP’s own footprint and sustainability, and enable the further implementation of NN IP’s RI approach into its investment strategies.
