DMFCO appoints Evelien van Hilten as Head of Portfolio Management

28 september 2021

THE HAGUE, September 27 – Evelien van Hilten (36) has been appointed Head of Portolio Management at the Hague-based asset manager DMFCO, founder of MUNT Hypotheken.

DMFCO has recruited Van Hilten because of her extensive experience as an asset manager and her in-depth knowledge of the mortgage and pension sector.

Van Hilten previously worked at Philips Pensioenfonds, where she was responsible for the €1 billion mortgage portfolio. Earlier, she worked at Nationale Nederlanden as senior portfolio manager for mortgages. “All the experiences from my previous positions can be brought into play at DMFCO,” says Van Hilten. “The combination of pension funds and the Dutch mortgage market has always intrigued me. With DMFCO, there are even opportunities for me to use this specific combination of knowledge, with which I hope to contribute to further expansion of DMFCO’s proposition.”

“We are very pleased with the arrival of Van Hilten and together with her we will continue to work on the growth of the company,” says DFMCO’s Managing Director Rogier van der Hijden. “With Van Hilten’s appointment we are bringing in a wealth of relevant mortgage and pension experience. Given the developments within the pensions industry, Van Hilten’s knowledge enables us to serve our investors even better.” Van Hilten’s arrival ensures that Dirk Bekkers, the former Head of Portfolio Management, can focus on further international growth of DMFCO.
